Corrections get priority
This site publishes numbers people use to size wiring and batteries, so an error here can cost someone money or create a hazard. If you have found one, that is the most useful message we can receive.
To let us verify quickly, please include:
- The page URL.
- The specific figure, sentence, or table row in question.
- What you checked it against — a standard and table number, a datasheet, or your own calculation.
Substantive corrections change the page and revise its update date, so the change is visible rather than silent. Our full approach is on theeditorial policy page.
Why there is no contact form
This is a static site with no server-side form handling. Using email directly means we collect nothing about you beyond the message you chose to send, with no form processor in between.
Please do not send
Passwords, payment details, API keys, government identifiers, or confidential business material. We do not need any of it and we do not want to hold it.
We also cannot review or approve an installation by email. If something in your system is hot, smells of burning, has discoloured insulation, or has visibly damaged wiring, disconnect it and get a qualified electrician to look at it rather than waiting for an editorial reply. If a project involves grid connection, roof work, or permitted building wiring, that is professional work and we will tell you the same thing in reply.
Response times
We are a small team and this is not a staffed support desk. Safety-relevant corrections are looked at first. Routine questions can take longer, and we may not reply to general enquiries at all if there is nothing useful for us to say.
